Flu bug bites Target, too
Target has joined the growing ranks of retailers and clinic operators nationwide looking to capitalize on the public's paranoia regarding the H1N1 flu virus.
Seasonal flu vaccinations have become available at Target Pharmacy stores around the country, the retailer announced Monday.
Target said vaccinations began Sunday and will be available at the pharmacies every day during pharmacy hours throughout the flu season, administered by pharmacists for $24.
“Target Pharmacy is a convenient, affordable option for patients looking to keep themselves and their families healthy this flu season,” Target SVP Keri Jones said in a statement. “By offering vaccinations with no appointment necessary, Target aims to make parents’ lives a little easier.”
Earlier this month, Target announced that their stores and clinics would provide vaccinations for customers.
