Five U.S. retailers expand their global efforts with Pitney Bowes

7/26/2016

Five specialty retailers are deploying a cross-border shipping solution to make it easier for international customers to buy from their sites.

The retailers — Evolue, Kathy Kuo Home, The Land of Nod, The New York Times Store and Soludos — are expanding their online reach through the Pitney Bowes Borderfree solution. The technology and cross-border shipping services enable global shoppers to simply and conveniently buy items online in over 70 currencies from more than 220 countries and territories.

“When we opened our doors six years ago, our goal was to become both a nationally and internationally recognized brand,” said Jean Seo, CEO and founder of Evolue, which offers luxury skincare products online and also operates a boutique in Beverly Hills, California. “The amazing team at Pitney Bowes provides a straightforward and functional solution to the challenging world of international e-commerce.

When global consumers visit the online sites of these retailers, they will now be able to shop and receive localized marketing, currency and order totals – including international shipping fees, customs, tariffs and taxes – so they have a shopping experience that feels familiar to their local market.

In addition, order totals are guaranteed by Pitney Bowes at the time of checkout, eliminating any unforeseen changes to shipping and importation costs so there are never any surprises for buyers when items are delivered.
