First A&P Starbucks kiosk opens in N.J.

FORT LEE, N.J. A&P, continuing the evolution of its Fresh store concept, opened its first Starbuck's kiosk just a few hundred yards from where the George Washington Bridge lands in New York City's New Jersey suburbs.

The Fort Lee A&P Fresh store is the initiation of a licensing agreement with Starbucks that provides for development of Starbucks stores in select A&P-operated locations throughout the supermarket operator's market area.

As the roll out begins, A&P has scheduled November openings for Starbuck's kiosks at Fresh stores in Allendale, Kenilworth and Mahwah, N.J.
