Firms Said to Be Eying Eddie Bauer

New York City, Eddie Bauer is rumored to be the latest target in the current merger and acquisition frenzy, according to a report in Tuesday’s Women’s Wear Daily. The newspaper said that among those looking into the specialty apparel retailer are VF Corp., Liz Claiborne, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., and Texas Pacific Group.
