Federal Signal acquires Sirit RFID

Toronto, Ontario and Oak Brook, Ill. Federal Signal Corp., an environmental, safety and transportation solution provider, said Friday that it has completed its acquisition of RFID technology company Sirit.

The pairing of the two companies is intended to allow Federal to offer comprehensive Intelligent Transport Systems solutions and capitalize on growing trends in the market.
