Fast-food giant on tech hiring binge
Subway continues to expand its online capabilities.
The chain is hiring 150 people to fill technology, marketing and operations roles for its digital division, according to a report by CIO.com.
The effort is being spearheaded by Subway CIO Carman Wenkoff, who is in charge of a new unit responsible for core digital capabilities, including the website, mobile application and payment systems, and its loyalty program, the report said. Wenkoff was also given the title of chief digital officer several months ago.
