Family Dollar Targets Energy Management

Matthews, N.C. Family Dollar Stores Inc. has hired Integrys Energy Services to provide energy-management consulting services for its 6,000-plus stores nationwide, according to Charlotte Business Journal.

Under the agreement, Integrys will focus on strategies to mitigate volatility, reduce costs and manage energy sourcing.

The company also will provide invoicing and utility-data management services.
