Family Dollar promotes Modla to deputy general counsel

MATTHEWS, N.C. Family Dollar Stores announced that it has promoted Jacob Modla to the position of vp – deputy general counsel. Modla will continue to report to Janet Kelley, senior vp and general counsel.

Modla began his career with Family Dollar in 2004 as assistant general counsel - litigation. Prior to joining Family Dollar, Modla spent 14 years in private practice with the law firm of Haynsworth Baldwin (now Ogltree Deakins).
