Family Dollar names merchandising vp

MATTHEWS, N.C. Family Dollar Stores today announced that it has named Scott Zucker to the position of vp of merchandising operations. He will report to Robert George, evp and chief merchandising officer.

Zucker joined Family Dollar in 2006 as divisional vp of pricing. Prior to joining Family Dollar, he was a buyer with Belk and then a retail consultant at BearingPoint.
