Family Dollar names investor relations head

MATTHEWS, N.C. Family Dollar Stores today announced that it has promoted Kiley Rawlins to the position of vp of investor relations and communications. In this role, Rawlins will continue to have responsibility for investor relations, media relations and corporate communications. She will report to Ken Smith, senior vp and cfo.

Rawlins began her career with Family Dollar in April 2005 as divisional vp of communications. Prior to joining the company, she served as senior valuation officer for Mercury Investment Group, an investment management company in Memphis, Tenn.
