Family Dollar to launch kids apparel line

Matthews, N.C. Family Dollar Stores said Tuesday it will begin selling a line of children's' clothing in its stores this summer.

The Kidgets line of infants' and toddlers' clothing and accessories will be an in-house brand at the retailer, and will feature items that cost up to $10.

Family Dollar currently operates 6,700 stores in 44 states.
