Ex-Warner execs join Summit Entertainment

LOS ANGELES Former Warner Home Video executives Steve Nickerson and Bob Gerber have left the company to head the new home entertainment division of Summit Entertainment.

Nickerson will serve as president of the new division and Gerber will be evp and gm of sales. Summit was formed in early 2007 as an independent studio and plans to finance, produce or distribute up to 12 movies a year. Its first film is a thriller called "P2" that will be released in November with the DVD scheduled to debut in early 2008.
