Long Beach, Calif. – Epson has announced the addition of two new printers to the company's growing lineup of out-of-the-box ready solutions for mobile POS (mPOS) devices. Epson's cost-effective TM-T20II and its under-the-counter TM-T70II are MFi (Made for iOS) compliant with Bluetooth and equipped with simple WiFi setup capability.
With the addition of these two printers, Epson's family of mPOS printers now includes seven of its popular models. In addition to the TM-T20II and TM-T70II, it includes the most relied upon stationary receipt printer, the TM-T88V, and its best-selling kitchen printer, the TM-U220, as well as Epson’s complete line of Mobilink portable printers.
Built with Epson's proprietary ePOS-Print technology, the printers can easily be integrated into native and cloud-/web-based environments and support iOS, Android and Windows devices.
"It's imperative that today's peripherals work seamlessly with mobile devices right out of the box," said Gregg Brunnick, Epson's director of marketing for the Business Systems Division. "The idea is for retailers to quickly and painlessly add receipt printing wherever needed, irrespective of the preferred connectivity or OS environment."
