Epicor Software bolsters retail solutions business

DUBLIN, Calif. — Epicor Software Corporation, a global business software solutions provider for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, has appointed Noel Goggin as SVP and GM of the Epicor retail solutions business.


Goggin will report to Epicor president and CEO Pervez Qureshi. In his new role, Goggin will have operating responsibility for the Epicor retail solutions business, which delivers a comprehensive retail management suite representing a complete range of advanced solutions for specialty, soft goods and general merchandise retailers.


“I am pleased with the addition of Noel to our management team, a seasoned professional and proven leader in the global retail software market,” said Qureshi. “Noel’s experience driving go-to-market and growth strategies to tier 1 retailers along with his success in transforming traditional enterprise applications businesses to cloud and software as a service delivery models will be tremendous assets to our retail business, and for Epicor overall.”


Goggin has more than 22 years of senior management experience within the software industry, including more than 12 years in executive management roles in the retail sector. Goggin will focus on revenue growth and expanding the market opportunity for Epicor retail software solutions including point of sale systems, merchandising solutions, retail cross-channel order management, customer relationship management, audit and operations management and business intelligence.

Prior to joining Epicor, Goggin served as SVP and GM of retail strategy at RedPrairie. Goggin was co-founder and chief operating officer of StorePerform Technologies, a provider of store execution solutions for Tier 1 global retailers, until it was acquired by RedPrairie in 2007. As co-founder of Ecovate, Inc. in 2000, Goggin also served as chief operating officer of the application infrastructure provider responsible for defining and developing the initial product platform and securing initial funding.


Epicor’s clients include Aeropostale, Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Build-A-Bear Workshop, General Nutrition Centers, True Value Company and Under Armour.
