Eileen Fisher adds e-commerce solution

Irvington, N.Y. Apparel retailer Eileen Fisher added an e-commerce solution to support its cross-channel shopping experience.

The Buy Anywhere, Fulfill Anywhere Commerce solution, from San Diego-based Escalate, is comprised of integrated e-commerce, contact center, order management and fulfillment modules, all designed to improve the retail customer experience by seamlessly merging cross-channel capabilities in the store, on the phone and over the Web.

“It is important that we are able to take what customers love about our stores and express that online with creativity and brand consistency," said Lauren Croke, the chain’s director of Web and e-commerce.

The suite also has functionality to manage and fulfill customer orders across all areas of their business, including e-commerce, contact center, stores, order management and fulfillment, distribution centers and supply chain. Escalate’s consulting partner, Acquity Group, is installing the solution.

Looking ahead, Eileen Fisher will leverage its recent Escalate e-commerce integration with New York City-based global e-commerce solution provider, FiftyOne Global e-Commerce, to begin marketing its Web site to shoppers internationally.
