ECRM to auction off last School and Office registration to children's charity
CLEVELAND, Ohio ECRM announced that although ECRM’s 2010 School and Office EPPS event has been sold out for quite some time, it has set aside one manufacturer spot to benefit Kids In Need Foundation, a non-profit organization with the mission to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need. Interested manufacturers will have the opportunity to bid for the spot on Ebay, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the organization.
On May 26, the registration will be available for bidding on Ebay, with bidding to begin at $16,950. On June 2, the highest bidding manufacturer will receive a full registration spot to the industry’s largest School and Office Supplies show, while their money is donated to Kids In Need.
“We are thrilled to host this fundraiser to benefit Kids In Need for the second year in a row. We strongly believe in the mission of Kids In Need and see this as an excellent opportunity for vendors to potentially secure a spot at this event while also contributing to an amazing organization. Last year, more than $20,000 was raised from this effort,” said Charlie Bowlus, CEO and founder of ECRM.
ECRM’s School and Office show is scheduled to take place Sept. 12 to 16 at the Hilton Atlanta, Ga. The show will consist of one-on-one planning sessions between buyers and suppliers in the school and office category. Around 140 manufacturer companies and 110 retail companies are expected to attend this event.
