E-commerce solutions provider bolsters freight service
CINCINNATI — Aero Fulfillment Services, a national provider of e-commerce fulfillment solutions, is bringing back Jamie Hudgens, this time as product manager for Aero’s new freight management service, SmartShip.
Hudgens was most recently a regional director for the East Coast at Sunburst Analysis, advising clients on cost reduction. He was director of business development for Aero from 2005-2009. In his new role, Hudgens will build out the service to include inbound, outbound, LTL, container, rail and small parcel freight services.
“We are more than delighted to have Jamie back on the team. In his former position here, manager of business development, he managed several client accounts quite successfully and implemented a supply chain management practice that led to a 25% cost reduction while maintaining transportation efficiency,” said president and CEO John Gimpel. “He understands what our clients need and expect. Now he brings hands-on experience in logistics management.”
Aero provides flexible, transparent and innovative fulfillment processes, IT solutions and rapid integration services to meet the requirements of both the B2B and B2C needs of its clients and their end customers.
