Dunkin' Donuts’ supplier adds enterprise distribution portal

Bellingham, Mass. National DCP, which services over 6,000 Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbins outlets worldwide, is now using an enterprise portal to streamline inventory management and order fulfillment operations within its regional distribution centers.

The S2K Enterprise Portal, from Vormittag Associates, Ronkonkoma, N.Y., enables the supplier’s associates and dedicated users at the quick-service banners to access real-time inventory data and place orders. The Web-based centralized portal delivers order histories based on a four-week average, simplifying inventory management at the store level. The platform unifies business processes across NDCP’s warehouses in the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Northeast, which streamlines deliveries down to store level.
