Duckwall-ALCO reports board changes

ABILENE, Kan. Duckwall-ALCO Stores today announced that effective immediately, Dennis Mullin and Patrick Doherty have resigned from the board of directors, and the board has voted to reduce its size from seven members to five.

Chairman Royce Winsten commented, "The Board offers its sincere thanks to Dennis Mullin and Patrick Doherty for their dedication and their service to the company. We recognize that both men have other obligations and that the demands of serving on the Duckwall board are considerable. Dennis has made significant contributions to the company during his many years of service, and Pat has been a very positive influence over the past year."
