Duckwall-ALCO May sales up 1.9%

ABILENE, Kan. Duckwall-ALCO Stores today announced that its sales from continuing operations for the four weeks ended May 27 increased approximately 1.9% to $41.5 million compared to $40.7 million in the prior-year month, and flat same-store sales.

Sales year-to-date increased 2.6% to $152.9 million compared to $149 million in the prior year, and same-store sales increased 0.9%.
