Drug Store Executive Shakeup

Walnut Creek, Calif., Longs Drug Stores Corp. announced today that COO Richard Dreiling has taken a position with another company, and that president, chairman and CEO Warren Bryant will assume the COO position until a successor is found.

Dreiling’s new position is that of president and CEO of New York City-based drug store chain Duane Reade, replacing Anthony Cuti.

Cuti had also been chairman of Duane Reade, but details of that position have not yet been released.
