Dress Barn Q4 sales leap 78% with Justice addition
Suffern, N.Y. Dress Barn reported late Thursday that revenue for the quarter ended July 24 surged 78% with the inclusion of retailer Justice, which Dress Barn acquired in November as part of its purchase of Tween Brands.
Revenue for the quarter was $710.9 million. Wall Street expected $658 million in revenue.
Dress Barn said that $245.6 million of this total came from sales at Justice stores. Sales at Dress Barn stores rose 11% to $282.3 million, while sales at Maurices stores rose 26% to $183 million.
Same-store sales rose 7% overall.
