Dress Barn board approves $100 million for share buybacks

Suffern, N.Y. Dress Barn said Friday its board approved a new $100 million stock-repurchase program.

The new program replaces a $100 million plan authorized in 2007, of which $57.4 million was unused.

The new program covers buying shares on the open market or in private deals.
