Dollar General promotes early holiday deals

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. Dollar General announced that it is already promoting savings on holiday items, such as gift wrap and tabletop accessories to help the cash-strapped consumer.

“High gas prices and other economic pressures mean many customers are planning ahead for the holidays,” said Kathleen Guion, Dollar General’s division president of store operations and store development. “We want to help them stretch their budgets by offering holiday deals earlier this year.” 

Items Dollar General is promoting include a fruit bath set for $6, a mini tool set for $6 and Hot Wheels for $1.
