Dollar General launches private sock line

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. Dollar General announced that it has introduced a new line of private-brand socks, which are now available in all stores.

The socks were produced by Gildan Activewear exclusively for Dollar General and will include Bobbie Brooks socks for women and girls and Open Trails socks for men and boys.

“Dollar General is excited to bring this new line of socks to our customers,” said Todd Vasos, Dollar General’s chief merchandising officer. “We’ve listened to what our customers want in the fit, style and value of socks. Together with Gildan, we’ve created a line of socks that our customers will feel good about purchasing, due to their minimal impact on the environment, as well as a product they will love to wear. These socks are one of the many ways Dollar General is improving high-quality apparel basics and making them affordable for everyone.”
