Dollar General is hiring
GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Dollar General is gearing up for a nationwide career fair to be held at 170 locations in 40 states Saturday, May 18. The event is part of the retailer's efforts to hire 10,000 new employees in May.
“With the long term career opportunities Dollar General provides its employees, we take great pride in being an employer of choice for external candidates,” said Bob Ravener, EVP and chief people officer for Dollar General. “Exceptional talent and internal promotions continue to fuel Dollar General’s growth and we look forward to the skills these 10,000 new hires will bring the company.”

The retailer is encouraging candidates to go to the Dollar General career site for information on current vacancies before attending the career fair, and to take a copy of their resumes to the event. Anyone unable to attend one of the nationwide career fairs can also apply for a position directly on Dollar General’s career site.
