Dick's Sporting Goods names new board member

PITTSBURGH Dick's Sporting Goods announced that Catherine Smith has been elected to the company's board of directors.

Smith currently serves as the EVP and CFO of Centex, one of the nation's leading home building companies.

Prior to joining Centex, Smith served as EVP and CFO for Kennametal, a global supplier of tooling, engineering components and advanced materials.
