DIC promotes Streff to licensing vp
Burbank, Calif. DIC Entertainment, a fully-integrated global brand management company, has promoted Lisa Streff to the position of vp of domestic licensing in DIC’s consumer products division, effective immediately.
In her new position, Streff will oversee the development and implementation of domestic licensing and merchandising programs for the company's slate of entertainment and lifestyle brands including "Mommy & Me," "Horseland," "McDonalds," "Strawberry Shortcake," "Cake," "Madeline" "Slumber Party Girls" and DIC’s all new boy-driven property "Dino Squad." She will oversee the efforts of sales, retail and product development. Previously, Streff served as executive director of hardlines at DIC where she managed across all DIC brands hardline categories, including toys, gift, novelty and collectibles.
Prior to joining DIC, Streff served as director of hardlines for the consumer products division at NBC/Universal where she negotiated and secured multiple master toy deals for Land Before Time, King Kong, Curious George, Cat in the Hat and Little Engine That Could. She was responsible for creating Universal Presents line which incorporated many properties, product lines and channels of distribution.
Previously, Streff spent eight years at Universal Studios in managerial positions, including senior manager of licensing, toys, gifts, collectibles, holiday and amusement. In this capacity, she led the development of licensing programs for Cat in the Hat, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Mummy Returns, Scorpion King and Josie & The Pussycats.
