Design Within Reach CEO Steps Down

San Francisco, Furniture retailer Design Within Reach Inc. said chief executive Wayne Badovinus has stepped down from his position due to personal reasons, but will assume the role of chairman. Badovinus will replace current chairman John Hansen, who will remain on the board. Tara Poseley will become the company’s new CEO and president, effective, Oct. 1. She joined Design Within Reach in 2004 as VP of merchandising after a 15-year career at Gap Inc.
