Design competition seeks omnichannel innovators
As retail store designs continue to rapidly evolve in the ecommerce era, Chain Store Age is looking for the best of the best for its 32nd annual Retail Store of the Year Design Competition.
More than 20 competition categories are featured in the industry’s longest running design competition, including what promises to be one of the most hotly contest areas, the category of in-store digital innovation. Other categories include department stores, supermarkets, discounters, restaurants, convenience stores, specialty stores, service, sustainability and pop-up stores.
Those eligible to submit entries include retailers, design firms, architects and suppliers and eligible projects are single location or multiple-unit stores/restaurants opened between Nov. 30, 2012 and Dec. 30, 2013. Time is of the essence however as the deadline for submissions is Friday, Jan. 10.
