Delhaize ends Kash n' Karry conversion

TAMPA, Fla. The last of the Delhaize-owned Kash n' Karry stores has been phased out and will now operate under the Sweetbay banner. The conversion marks the end of a three-year transformation of about 100 former Kash n' Karry stores.

According to reports, chief executive Shelley Broader lead the efforts to convert the Kash n' Karry stores as part of a plan to better compete in the local grocery scene.
