Delhaize creates CIO position for U.S. ops

NEW YORK Delhaize has promoted Scott Harrison to the newly created position of CIO for Delhaize Group U.S. Harrison previously served as Food Lion's SVP technology and efficiency and CIO.

In his new role, Harrison will work closely with Delhaize’s U.S.-based subsidiaries to ensure the fulfillment of the company’s IT strategic and operational needs.

Harrison joined Food Lion in 2000 and was promoted to the SVP role in 2007.
