Deckers Outdoor teams with GT Nexus on supply chain solution

Oakland, Calif. -- Global footwear brand Deckers Outdoor Corp. announced it is using the GT Nexus cloud-based supply chain platform to improve supply chain collaboration and visibility.



The parent to the Ugg Australia and Teva labels said the platform will replace EDI and point solutions with a multi-enterprise network solution connecting external supply chain partners to Deckers’ ERP system and providing real-time performance updates.



As a result, Deckers will eliminate manual processes, paper and spreadsheets from its supply chain operations.



“Our main objective is improving visibility across our extended supply chain,” said Mark Fegley, senior VP supply chain at Deckers. “GT Nexus will replace a number of disparate systems to help us closely track the flow of orders throughout the supply chain, from purchase order through settlement. We’ll have consistent visibility into what is really occurring in the factory, at the packing station, and in transit.”
