CVS revamps Web site

WOONSOCKET, R.I. CVS/pharmacy announced that it has revamped its CVS.com site to make it easier for consumers to manage their prescriptions online. The site offers new prescription management features, personalized medication profiles, information on drugs including cost-saving generic alternatives, and health and wellness information.

CVS/pharmacy is relaunching the site in an effort to better serve its customers who are looking for more ways to take control of their well-being. "Now more than ever, patients are taking an active role in managing their health," said Helena Foulkes, senior vp of health services for CVS Caremark. "The new CVS.com offers the tools for customers to handle their pharmacy health care in a way that is easy and convenient, such as renewing a prescription without having to have a prescription vial in hand or arranging a pickup location that is closer to home."
