CVS Health announces organizational changes

CVS Health is making a series of organizational changes to further drive enterprise alignment and fuel its growth strategy.

The changes include:

  • The promotion of Josh Flum to EVP, pharmacy services. In addition to overseeing retail pharmacy operations, pharmacy professional services, and payer relations, Flum will also have oversight of a new Enterprise Product Innovation and Development team, and a new Enterprise Pharmacy Growth team. He continues to report to Helena Foulkes, EVP of CVS Health and president of CVS/pharmacy.

  • The promotion of Anita Allemand to SVP, enterprise product Innovation and development, reporting to Flum.

  • The integration of CVS Health's existing PBM and Retail Product Development teams will create a centralized center of excellence for end-to-end product development.

  • The promotion of Grant Pill to SVP, enterprise pharmacy growth, reporting to Flum. Pill's organization will focus on strategies to grow pharmacy share across all channels. George Coleman has succeeded Pill as VPMM, health care and will lead the merchandising department's Health Care team. Coleman previously led store brands, growing sales by 13% and building a team that includes strategic, brand and category management capabilities.

  • Cia Tucci has been promoted to VP, store brands. She joined CVS in 1987 and has held a number of roles. Tucci most recently led store brands' category management, product development and packaging teams. She has been instrumental in driving financial performance and new, innovative product lines including specialty bath and condition-state vitamins.

Coleman and Tucci report to Judy Sansone, SVP, front store business and chief merchant.
