Former Safeway executive Keith Colbourn has joined in a new retail oriented role focused on targeting and analytics.

Colbourn was named senior vice president of retail at and will report to COO and CFO Mir Amir. He joins from Safeway where he most recently served as senior vice president of loyalty, leading the retailer’s digital CRM, loyalty and analytics efforts, including the Just For U program loyalty program. At he will oversee Retailer iQ, the targeting and analytics platform for grocery, drug and mass merchandisers and retailer relationships.

“With nine announced retail partners, serving a total of 18 retail brands, Retailer iQ and our retail business continues to scale as a key catalyst for growth,” Amir said. “We are incredibly excited to have someone of Keith's caliber, energy and experience join the family. Keith will lead the Retailer iQ business and retailer relationships, and help us continue to define our leadership in the targeting and analytics.”

Prior to Safeway, Colbourn served as vice president and global loyalty practice leader at Dunnhumby USA, working with U.S. and international clients on their loyalty and customer strategies. He has held leadership roles at FreshDirect in New York, and The Loyalty Group in Toronto.
