Cost Plus to end shareholder rights plan

Oakland, Calif. Cost Plus said that its board has decided to terminate its shareholder rights plan earlier than planned.

The board determined the plan is "unnecessary at this time" and moved the expiration date of its current plan, which was due to expire June 30, 2012, to April 14.
