Cost Plus announces organizational changes

OAKLAND, Calif. Cost Plus announced that a member of its board of directors, Christopher Dodds, notified the company on May 6 of his intention not to stand for re-election to the board of directors due to other time commitments.

Dodds commented, “I have enjoyed working with management and the board of directors during this challenging economic time. I wish the Company much success in the quarters and years ahead.”

The company also announced that Ray Whitley, SVP supply chain, has left the company. Whitley’s position will not be replaced and his responsibilities have been assigned to other members of the executive team.
