CompUSA site to answer customer concerns

12/14/2007

DALLAS CompUSA, which recently announced that it is shuttering its 103 retail stores, has created a Web site to help customers find information related to the company's customer service programs and policies.

The Web site (www.compusaconsumerhelp.com), according to the company, provides information on the retailer's policies with respect to extended warranties, gift cards, rain checks, rebates and other customer service programs. In addition, the company said relevant 800 numbers and hyperlinks will be posted to the Web site to assist with customer inquiries.

CompUSA announced on Dec. 7  that it has been acquired by an affiliate of Gordon Brothers Group. Gordon Brothers Group has initiated an orderly wind-down of CompUSA's retail store operations and is engaged in discussions with various parties regarding the sale of certain assets.
