Coldwater Creek launches mobile site

Sandpoint, Idaho Coldwater Creek launched a mobile website on June 24 that supports the iPhone and Android platforms. The new mobile website is an optimized version of Coldwater Creek's ecommerce site that allows for easy viewing and navigation from these mobile devices.

Utilizing resized and reformatted versions of the pages of the brand's ecommerce site, coldwatercreek.com, the new mobile website allows the user to see each page, in full, on the screen of an iPhone or Android, eliminating the need to scroll or zoom.  Navigation throughout the shopping experience has been optimized for touch screen devices.

"Since the launch, we have already seen a significant increase in page views per site visit from mobile phones," said Dan Moen, SVP marketing and CIO of Coldwater Creek. "We believe this can be directly attributed to the improved shopping experience."
