Circuit City unveils year-long DTV campaign
RICHMOND, Va. Circuit City Stores today announced the launch of a year-long campaign to educate the public about the upcoming transition from analog to digital television.
Circuit City said the campaign will start on Feb. 19 with an interactive Web forum hosted by Al Griffin, technical editor of Sound & Vision Magazine.
"Providing industry-leading information to consumers is one of our core commitments," said Brian Bradley, Circuit City's senior vp of multi-channel. "We are ready to do our part to help Americans prepare for a significant shift in the way television is broadcast and received."
Other components of its year-long education campaign, according to Circuit City, include enhanced store signage and additional educational resources in stores and online.
