Circuit City to Build Energy-Efficient Store in Georgia

Richmond, Va., Circuit City has signed on as a tenant at the Abercorn Common retail redevelopment, to be located in Savannah, Ga. The store, which will be a replacement site for an existing Circuit City location in the market, will be the retailer’s first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) location. LEED is a voluntary program based on a national standard for developing environmentally friendly buildings. Abercorn Common will be the first all-retail LEED facility in the nation.
