China Nepstar enters agreement with ATM operator

Shenzhen, China China’s largest drugstore chain, China Nepstar Chain Drugstore, said Tuesday it has entered into an agreement with ATMU Technology Co. to install more than 1,000 ATM machines in Nepstar stores.

China Nepstar said the agreement is intended to not only provide customer convenience and generate rental revenue, but to help increase store traffic and accelerate the development of electronic-payment services at Nepstar stores.

ATMU plans to complete initially 1,000 ATM installations in China Nepstar's existing stores by end of 2010.

China Nepstar operates 2,312 stores across 64 cities in China.
