Children's Place CFO Resigns

Secaucus, N.J. The CFO at The Children's Place Retail Stores Inc. resigned Tuesday after less than a year in the post.

Richard Paradise, who served as CFO and principal accounting officer, will leave the position effective Aug. 1 to pursue another business opportunity outside of the company. He joined the company in November 2007 as senior VP, finance and was promoted to the CFO post the following month.

Children's Place did not disclose the details of Paradise's new business opportunity.

Susan Riley, executive VP of finance and administration, will assume his CFO duties.
