Charming Shoppes rolls out e-commerce upgrade

Bensalem, Pa. Charming Shoppes said Tuesday that it has rolled out a major e-commerce upgrade with the debut of a single check-out linking four of its banner Web sites.

The universal checkout links lanebryant.com, cacique.com, fashionbug.com, and catherines.com.

“This is a package of online features that is unique in the women's apparel industry and has allowed us to provide a state-of-the-art shopping environment for our customers," said Bill Bass, president of Charming Direct.

Charming Shoppes operates more than 2,100 retail apparel stores in 48 states.
