Century 21 to open first non-Northeast location

Century 21, the coveted off-price store beloved by fashionistas in the Northeast, has announced that it will be heading south for its next location.

Century 21 will be opening an approximately 85,000-square-footstore – the first anywhere in the nation outside of the Northeast – at Sawgrass Mills in South Florida in the fall of 2016.

Century 21 is known for its legendary and exceptional offering of designer label and brand name merchandise sold at unbelievable prices, and for its trendsetting styles and first quality assortment of merchandise. The new location at Sawgrass Mills will feature men's, women's and children's apparel, footwear, outerwear, lingerie and accessories, as well as home goods.

According to Goodman, The Mills has purchased eight acres, which previously housed the VF Factory store and parking area, to serve as the site for the new Century 21. The store will be conveniently located in the heart of Sawgrass Mills near The Colonnade Outlets. Century 21 will join the ever growing number of retailers with outlets exclusively at Sawgrass Mills, including AllSaints, Armani Outlet, Diane von Furstenberg, Diesel, GUCCI, kate spade new york, and Tory Burch. Other first-in-market outlet stores opening soon at Sawgrass Mills are 7 For All Mankind, Ted Baker, La Perla, Alexis Bittar, Vince and Zadig & Voltaire.

Off-price retailer Century 21, established in 1961, is headquartered in Downtown Manhattan, with four other locations in New York including Lincoln Square, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island and three additional locations in New Jersey including Paramus, Morristown and Elizabeth as well as online at C21Stores.com. In the fall of 2014, Century 21 Department Store opened its first store outside of the New York Metro, in Philadelphia.
