Casual Male Swings to Profit in 4Q, Year

Canton, Mass., Casual Male Retail Group Inc. rose into the black with fourth-quarter net income of $7.9 million, vs. an $8.8 million net loss in the year-ago period. Sales rose 15.8% to $118.2 million. For the full year, Casual Male’s net income was $1.5 million, compared with a net loss of $12.1 million a year before. Sales for the year rose 7.6% to $465 million.
