Casual Male narrows losses in Q3

Canton, Mass. Casual Male Retail Group, retail brand operator of Casual Male XL, Rochester Clothing, B&T Factory Direct, Living XL and Shoes XL, reported Thursday a net loss of $1.4 million for the third quarter, compared with a net loss of $3.2 million in the year-ago period.

Sales decreased by 11.3% to $88.7 million from $100.0 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2008. Comp-store sales dropped 10.6%.
