Canadian retailer experiments with product-testing devices

Alberta, Canada Mark's Work Wearhouse, an Alberta, Canada-based retailer of specialty and casual men's wear, has installed a walk-in freezer at its new store in Edmonton, Canada, where shoppers can test the resilience of its cold-weather outerwear. The store also boasts a number of other interactive features.

"The buying group has done an amazing job over the years at sourcing and promoting innovative products, and our marketing has reflected that, but we wanted to be able to find out ways to bring that to life within the stores," a company executive said
