Cabela's names new CEO

SIDNEY, Neb. Cabela’s has named Thomas Millner to serve as Cabela’s CEO and president, and a member of the board, effective April 6. Millner will succeed Dennis Highby who will assume the position of a vice chairman of the board.

Millner worked for Remington for 15 years, the past 10 as CEO.

“I am excited for the opportunity to join Cabela’s, which has a rich history, the most powerful brand in the outdoor industry and a unique passion for customer service,” Millner said. “I have always admired Cabela’s management and founders, and what they established with their love for the outdoors.
